COVID-19 Update
Well, that was an interesting 3 months. Ontario has been in Phase 1 of it’s re-opening plan for a couple of weeks now so we’re still limiting customers to 2 in the store at a time. Classes and sit ‘n sew sessions, as well as longarm rentals, are still on hold. In anticipation of the next re-opening phase, we’re re-stocking our fabrics and getting ready to offer full services. For now, we are still offering longarm services via curbside dropoff and pickup, or we’ll pick up and deliver. Call for details.
So how are you coping? Isolation can be a great time to catch up on all those sewing projects. Get those UFO’s done up or those PIG’s flying. We can help. Email Ginette to arrange a quote for a longarm quilting job and discuss drop-off or pick-up options. Most of our customers live within 60 Km of U~Quilt~It, and we’re willing to drive to your house to pick up or drop off quilt projects.
We are also offering embroidered labels for your quilts. We’ve been doing this for a while now, but we can take your orders and send them out by mail.
We’re working on our on-line store (Ron is struggling with the learning curve, poor guy) and you should see pages soon for longarm orders, label orders, and some products for sale. We’ll offer mostly kits and things to start, as inputting fabric photos is a bit tedious on our site. Look for some changes to the web site in the coming week.
We have some other interesting thoughts to explore, but hopefully this thing won’t drag on long enough for us to try them before it’s over.
Be safe, wash your hands, eat healthy.
God speed.
Ginette & Ron
